POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an ENTHUSIASTIC teacher for Kindergarten and Preschool Programs. We are looking for an energetic, dedicated, fun-loving and structured individual who has a passion to work with children and teach Safari Kid curriculum. If you have experience and the desire to impact children in a positive and meaningful way, we would love to speak with you. We are seeking creative, talented, and professional people who are serious about providing meaningful after school opportunities for youth. We need people who are flexible, who will take the initiative, who are punctual and able to make a commitment to work throughout the entire school year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to work Monday – Friday for Kindergarten and Preschool classes 12 ECU units are required. Teaching certificate or degree in education. A Bachelor's degree in education or a similar field Special Knowledge of Math, English, public speaking, Arts, Dance, Drama, or Sports preferred. Current Driver’s License or CA ID and Social Security Card Must meet all California Department of Family and Protective Service requirements Must pass a criminal history check and fingerprinting CPR/First Aid preferred Experience with developing lesson plans and following curriculum Must be a team player Knowledge or expertise in youth development Must be comfortable leading physical activities with youth This Job Is: A good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Hayward, CA 94545: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Application Question(s): Do you have 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units?
